1. The base price is not the actual price. There were so many instances that I wanted to justify my purchases. It is not that what the base had was bad but why not pay more for something that would feel more custom? My husband’s tip: add 10% to the base price.
2. Research! Research so you don’t look completely lost like I was at most of our meetings. GFCI? What is that and how many do I need? Don’t ask the person how many you need of something who is getting paid commission. Do the research yourself and think about the functionality of products before you buy. Also, know your materials.
