French Country Breakfast Room Board

Hope everyone had an awesome Valentine’s Day weekend! We rented a house in Big Canoe, and if you have not been there, I can not recommend it enough! We never knew how private and cozy a five bedroom house could feel. Every morning, the us and the dogs went on a little hike. Afterwards, we ate brunch shopped, watched movies, splashed in the jacuzzi, and made s’mores in the fireplace.  My husband made an awesome little basket for me with tickets to “50 Shades of Grey”, “Massages from him” coupons, Butterfingers, and the sold out white D’Orsay Christian Louboutins. To say he is a fabulous gift – giver is an understatement.  I was hoping to get trapped up there with the “winter storm” coming but no such luck.

Tuesday was back to work on the house. If you could not already tell, I love the “french country” look. Our house feels very Tudor so I can get away with it especially in areas like our breakfast nook. I plan on using Sherwin Williams “Functional Gray” (background color) with “Snowbound” trim. This is our breakfast nook layout:

And here is the board.. my husband said it looks like a 2-d on Blues Clues, but I am in the learning process on how to make boards. ha..I was more excited about figuring out how to make my letters arch than worrying about the board design:

If anyone would like any info on where to get these items let me know 🙂
