While I was on a chalk paint binge, I decided to paint some picture frames I found at the thrift store. This one was definitely the style I wanted, but I was not into the gold to I painted it using Americana Decor Everlasting, Primitive, and Yesteryear. You really do not need to use all these colors, and I only did this method because I love the vintage- distressed look of mixing colors.
I originally started just using the Americana Decor chalk paint in Everlasting alone then noticed I liked the gold coming through:
Before the paint dried, I started to cool some of the gold by adding in strokes of Americana Decor Primitive and Yesteryear Chalk Paint:
