It’s the weekend!! Whoo hoo! This week went by so fast! We have yet to start on our house because our house is in the corner which makes it hard for the trucks to get in and out. We had to wait on permits.. blah blah.. hopefully, this will all start by the end of March because I already have somethings picked out! Last “Favorite” , we narrowed down beds with you, and today we are working on my favorite upholstered sofas.
My husband wants a linen tufted sofa where as I want a french country-style sofa with wooden arms but they are not super comfortable so we decided to use that look in the chairs. We decided we needed something we could put a slip cover over incase we ever have little ones running around. Right now we have an awesome “easy to clean” sofa that I got from Macy’s four years ago. I love how you can take the cushion covers off. I wash them in the machine every week.
So we researched and found a lot of facts about sofas we probably didn’t need..such as , did you know there were way too many arm styles?

I prefer the panel, ruched, sock, or pad, but I honestly did not think I had this many options in sofas. I knew we definitely wanted a deep sofa because I like having something for my head to rest on. Our living room measures 23′ x 22′ and our rug is 9’x12′ so our sofa would probably be around 84″-96″ Wide so we could move it around without it falling off the rug. We also like the textured linen look a lot.

A Tip:
- Shopping online is great for deals, but it is also best to actually see and sit on the couch you are purchasing. My main problem with shopping online for a couch is comfort. I can not tell how soft or how high the back is when sitting online. Try looking online for the look and price you want then in stores.
