Valentines Day DIY Gift for Girls!

Valentines day isn’t just a day for couples. It is a day to show anyone you love them! Luckily, Target’s dollar section had adorable finds this year! I bought a few goodies like red and pink glitter paper, disposable heart paper, and some heart cards.  Since I was there, I also got some of my friends nail polishes in colors in names that reminded me of them ( Essie’s “Warm and Toasty Turtleneck” sweater should keep my best friend Brianna warm in the Milwaukee weather). It is also cute to have red polishes for Valentines day too! This is a fun and easy DIY gift for girls idea to say “I love you”.

Here are some things you will need:

– 1 Nail polish (use any brand or color you like)

– 1 Small white bag (mine= 6 1/2″x 3 1/2″) or Paper Source Muslin Bag

– Filler for bags

– A printer (Mine is a HP $40 printer and it is amazing compared to my other pricier ones)

For the graphics I went to Ella Claire , saved, and cut them to add to my Pages. When printing on muslin, be sure to tape the edges and print in the middle of the page. I like to print on regular paper first so I can see where to tape my muslin bag.

I printed the words out prior to printing onto the bag for alignment purposes.

For the font, I used Volupte on a paper bag. This is a cheaper and easier option than using the muslin bag.
